Studio Update (February 25, 2016)

I don’t mistrust reality, of which I know next to nothing. I mistrust the picture of reality conveyed to us by our senses, which is imperfect and circumscribed.
— Gerhard Richter, in conversation with Rolf Schön (1972)

Currently I am working on a multi-faceted project involving a series of found images, this diptych shows the front and back of a black/white image left in the vicinity of Victory Park in Manchester, NH. A public park situated in the downtown area with a large homeless and transient population with evidence of widespread alcohol and class A drug abuse. It is also situated in the middle of an art school campus and close to the business center of town.

More to come...
